Man Dies after Being Hit by Truck near Geer Road in Turlock

 
TURLOCK, CA (July 30, 2021) — A man dies after being run over by a truck near Geer Road and Hedstrom Road Thursday morning.
 
According to officers, the fatal accident happened around 10:40 am. In the investigation, officers say the man was possibly sleeping prior to the accident. At some point, a delivery truck reversing into a loading dock of a business ran over the man.
 
Shortly after, paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a hospital where he died. Meanwhile, the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
At this time, officers have not confirmed the fatal victim’s identity or the ultimate cause of the accident. However, anyone with more information should contact the Turlock Police Department.
