Man Dead in Lakeside Pedestrian Crash on Highway 67

 
LAKESIDE, CA (June 29, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 67 at San Vicente Avenue Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 2:34 am. For unknown reasons, a female driver traveling in an unknown direction struck the pedestrian.
 
As a result of the crash, the man died at the scene.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and transported the female driver to a hospital with unknown injuries.
 
At this time, reports neglected to mention the speed involved and if the accident happened in a crosswalk. However, if any witnesses would like to add to this accident, please contact the CHP.
