Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Chapman Avenue in Fullerton

 
FULLERTON, CA (March 9, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Chapman Avenue near State College Boulevard on Tuesday evening.
 
According to Fullerton Police Department officers, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 6:35 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a man in the 2500 block of East Chapman Avenue.
 
Shortly after, paramedics and officers responded to the scene and brought the victim to a hospital where he died. Authorities have withheld his name pending notification of family members.
 
At this time, detectives have not confirmed the ultimate cause of the crash. However, they have ruled out DUI and speed as possible factors in the accident.
