HYDE PARK, CA (May 27, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Arlington Avenue near 51st Street on Wednesday night.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly pedestrian crash happened around 11:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a man crossing a street in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles.
 
As a result, the victim suffered major injuries and died shortly after. Officers have not released the victim’s name but have only described him as an individual in his 60s.
 
Following the incident, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
