Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Palomar Street in Chula Vista

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (July 31, 2023) — A man died in a motorcycle crash on Palomar Street near 4th Avenue.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the deadly motorcycle accident happened around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. For what authorities believe was due to speed, a motorcyclist lost control and crashed into another driver turning near 4th Avenue.
 
Soon after, officers and paramedics arrived and transported the gravely injured motorcyclist to UCSD Medical Center where he died.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the other driver to a nearby hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
 
At this time, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has not released the victim’s name pending notification of next of kin. However, if anyone has more to add to this investigation, please call the CVPD Traffic Bureau at 619-476-5320.
