Fatal Bakersfield Motorcycle Accident at Robinson Street

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 2, 2023) — A man died in a motorcycle accident at Robinson Street and Kentucky Street.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the deadly motorcycle accident happened Friday morning. Due to a traffic code violation near the intersection of Haley and Pacific streets, Bakersfield officers tried to pull over a motorcycle. However, the man was not acquiescent and fled southbound.
 
Subsequently, the motorcyclist crashed into a fence at Robinson and Kentucky streets around 1:37 a.m. From there, officers called paramedics to the scene who then transported him to a hospital where he passed away.
