PALO ALTO, CA (July 31, 2023) — A man died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Kavanaugh Drive near Kirkwood Court.
 
According to Palo Alto Police, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck and killed a man in the 1400 block of Kavanaugh Drive.
 
Police officers believe the man was crossing the street when the accident occurred. As for the driver, that individual fled the scene before police arrived.
