Man Dies in Accident with Bus on Harbor Boulevard

 
SANTA ANA, CA (September 23, 2021) — A man died in a crash with a bus on Harbor Boulevard at 17th Street Wednesday.
 
According to Santa Ana police Cpl. Sonia Rono, the crash occurred around 8:35 a.m. For unknown reasons, a man driving a Honda Accord failed to yield behind an Orange County Transportation Authority bus. Subsequently, his Honda collided with the rear end of the bus.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the man died at the scene. Meanwhile, the 15 passengers on board the bus survived the crash with no injuries. Per investigators, the Honda driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
 
As of now, the ultimate cause of the accident requires further investigation. However, anyone with information should call the Santa Ana police.
