Two-Vehicle Rollover on Golden State Freeway in Granada Hills Leaves 1 in Critical Condition

 
GRANADA HILLS, CA (January 4, 2023) – A man was critically injured after a two-vehicle rollover crash on Golden State (5) Freeway in Granada Hills Saturday morning.
 
The crash happened around 9:49 a.m. on December 31. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, two vehicles collided along the southbound freeway, where one of them had rolled over.
 
Responding firefighters found the male occupant in the overturned car required extrication. After extricating the man, paramedics rushed him to a hospital in critical condition.
 
A second patient, a woman from another vehicle, suffered a non-life-threatening injury, but declined transport to a hospital.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
