Scooter Rider Suffers Critical Injuries after Struck by Car on Newport Boulevard in Newport Beach

 
NEWPORT BEACH, CA (April 23, 2023) – A man was critically injured in a scooter accident at Newport Boulevard and 32nd Street Sunday afternoon on April 16.
 
According to the Newport Beach Police Department, the man was riding his scooter when a car struck him around 3:54 p.m.
 
The man suffered significant injuries after the crash. Paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
 
The driver and passenger of the car involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
