BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 26, 2021) – A man sustained critical injuries in a pedestrian accident at 24th Street and Oak Street late Monday evening.
 
The accident happened just after 11:40 p.m. on August 23. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck the male pedestrian at the intersection.
 
When officers arrived, they located the man suffering from major injuries. Paramedics then rushed the victim to a hospital in critical condition.
