Suspected DUI Driver Causes Three-Car Crash on Santa Barbara Avenue in SLO

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (January 28, 2024) – A man was arrested after a DUI three-car crash at Santa Barbara Avenue and High Street in San Luis Obispo on Thursday evening.
 
The crash happened around 10:00 p.m. on January 25. According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, three cars collided at the intersection.
 
Upon arrival, officers found one driver suffering from moderate, non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took that driver to a hospital for treatment.
 
The other two drivers were unharmed.
 
Police said the injured driver was the one who caused the crash. They arrested that driver on suspicion of driving under the influence.
