NEWHALL, CA (May 30, 2023) — A man was arrested in a DUI car accident on Highway 14 near Oak Springs Canyon Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol officials, the two-vehicle crash happened around 12:54 a.m. on May 17. For DUI-related reasons, a 23-year-old Lancaster man failed to stop and drove his northbound Lexus into a BMW.
 
One person reported minor injuries in the accident. Following an investigation, officers learned that the Lancaster man was under the influence of alcohol. Police arrested him for DUI.
