Luis Guzman Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway [Lake Elsinore, CA]

Sedan and Pickup Truck Collide on 15 Freeway in Lake Elsinore Killing One Driver

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (April 23, 2023) – Luis Solano Guzman died in a two-vehicle accident in Lake Elsinore early Friday morning on April 21.
 
The fatal accident happened shortly after 2:00 a.m. on southbound 15 Freeway, just north of Nichols Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Guzman was driving a sedan when he collided with a pickup truck in the middle lanes of the freeway.
 
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived and pronounced Guzman dead at the scene. He was a 33-year-old Menifee resident.
 
The driver of the pickup was unhurt.
 
CHP officers partially shut down the southbound side of the freeway until 4:00 a.m. while they cleared the wreckage.
 
At this time, no one was arrested. An investigation is underway. The Riverside CHP office asked anyone with information to contact them at 951-637-8000.
