Laura Plourde Killed in Pedestrian Accident on South Waterman Avenue [San Bernardino, CA]

48-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle at South Waterman Avenue and East Mill Street

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 28, 2023) – Laura Marie Plourde was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Bernardino on February 19.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:57 p.m. at South Waterman Avenue and East Mill Street. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, Plourde was walking in the area when a vehicle struck her.
 
When officers arrived, they found Plourde suffering from fatal injuries. They pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
The victim was a 48-year-old San Bernardino resident.
 
It is unclear if the involved driver stayed after the crash. It is also unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
