43-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver Vermont Knolls Area

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (October 3, 2023) – Kyesha Hardgraves was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the Vermont Knolls area of South Los Angeles early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 12:09 a.m. on September 30 at South Normandie Avenue and West 83rd Place. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Hardgraves was walking in the area when a vehicle traveling south on Normandie struck her.
 
After striking her, the vehicle drove away without stopping.
 
Hardgraves died at the scene. She was a 43 years old, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
 
An investigation is underway.
