Knuderik Rasmussen Hit and Killed on Highway 62 [Yucca Valley, CA]

70-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Highway 62 at Dumosa Avenue

 
YUCCA VALLEY, CA (October 26, 2022) – Knuderik Rasmussen was hit and killed by a vehicle on Highway 62 in Yucca Valley on Sunday evening.
 
The crash happened around 8:48 p.m. on October 23 at Dumosa Avenue. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Rasmussen was crossing the highway outside of a crosswalk when a Dodge Ram pickup truck hit him.
 
As a result, Rasmussen suffered major injuries. Emergency crews rushed him to a local hospital, where he later died. He was a 70-year-old man from Denmark.
 
The driver of the truck remained at the scene. Authorities said drugs and alcohol were not a factor in this crash.
