Kimberly Schroder Charged in Hit-And-Run Accident on Diamond Head Drive and Bryan Avenue

TUSTIN, CA (February 16, 2023) — Officials charged Kimberly Anne Schroder on Wednesday after a hit-and-run crash on Friday, February 10.

According to Tustin police Lt. Ryan Coe, the two-vehicle crash occurred at around 1 p.m. at Diamond Head Drive and Bryan Avenue. A man and two 3-year-old boys were in the other car. They sustained minor to moderate injuries, Coe said.

Authorities charged Schroder with failure to stop at a hit-and-run with injury and a felony. Additionally, they also charged her with misdemeanor counts of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. According to court records, she also faces a sentencing enhancement for committing a crime while out on bail.

Based on court records, Schroder was out on bail in a case dating back to September 2022. It was a felony count of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell. She also has a misdemeanor count of identity theft.

Coe said that Schroder allegedly ran away from the scene of Friday’s incident. Police instantly set up a perimeter, and a sergeant noticed an Uber car in the area with Schroder inside.
