BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 2, 2021) — Kevin Mallard died in a solo-car accident on Old Yard Drive near Union Avenue on Tuesday night.
 
According to the Kern County coroner’s office, authorities have identified Kevin Lashawn Mallard as the fatal victim in this single-car crash. Just before 9:00 a.m., Mallard reportedly failed to negotiate a turn and struck a block wall.
 
As a result, he suffered fatal injuries.
 
A woman and a juvenile in the vehicle suffered moderate injuries.
