Kevin Abric Killed in Riverside Pedestrian Accident on 215 Freeway at Alessandro Boulevard

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (June 20, 2022) — 34-year-old Kevin Abric died in a pedestrian accident on the 215 Freeway on-ramp at Alessandro Boulevard on Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 6:15 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a Hyundai sedan entering the freeway at speeds of about 40 miles per hour struck Abric.
 
It appears the Riverside man tried to walk eastbound across the entrance on-ramp after walking along the right shoulder.
 
Shortly after, Riverside Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene, but Abric succumbed to his injuries.
 
Following the accident, the uninjured driver who contacted 911 stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
