Bicyclist Dies after Crash with Vehicle in Canyon Lake

 
CANYON LAKE, CA (June 13, 2023) – Kennan Ruiz was killed in a bicycle accident in Canyon Lake Saturday evening on June 10.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of Railroad Canyon Road and Canyon Lake Drive. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Ruiz was riding his bicycle when he collided with a vehicle.
 
Ruiz was ejected from his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a 42-year-old Lake Elsinore resident.
 
The driver of the vehicle was unharmed.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
