Two People on Motorcycle Die after Crash with Car in Sonora

 
SONORA, CA (November 6, 2023) – Justin Brasiel and Nikole Brasiel were killed in a motorcycle accident in Sonora Saturday afternoon on November 4.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Highway 108 near South Washington Street. According to California Highway Patrol, the victims were on a motorcycle traveling on the highway when the light turned red. The motorcycle continued into the intersection and crashed into a car that had entered the intersection when the light turned green.
 
As a result of the crash, both Justin and Nikole were ejected from the motorcycle.
 
People in the area started lifesaving measures until emergency personnel arrived.
 
Paramedics then took the two Modesto riders to Adventist Health Sonora, where they later died. Both wearing helmets, according to CHP.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
