BEAUMONT, CA (October 18, 2021) — A 58-year-old man identified as Juan Carlos Montano died in a train accident on Saturday, October 16.
 
The incident occurred on the railroad tracks along Highland Springs Avenue, near 10 Freeway at 12:17 a.m.
 
The coroner’s office said that Montano died at the scene about half an hour later.
 
The Banning Police Department said no passengers on the train suffered injuries.
 
The investigation of the incident is still underway.
