CHICO, CA (October 18, 2021) – A teen was hurt in a scooter accident on East Avenue near Safeway on October 14.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 8:06 AM.
 
Based on an initial report, the Pleasant Valley High School student was on a scooter at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an unidentified vehicle struck the victim.
 
As of now, officers have not yet released the details that led to the crash. In addition, the victim’s condition was not immediately available.
 
At this point, the Chico Police Department is still investigating this scooter accident on East Avenue. Also, no other details are available.
