Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Pickup Truck on Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 19, 2023) – Jorge Sedano Jimenez was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lake Elsinore Monday afternoon on July 17.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:00 p.m. on Grand Avenue near Macy Street. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Jimenez was riding his motorcycle when he collided into a pickup truck in front of a business.
 
Responding paramedics attempted life-saving measures on Jimenez, who died at the scene. He was a 22-year-old resident of the city.
 
The pickup driver was not hurt and not arrested.
 
Deputies shut down Grand Avenue in both directions while they investigated and cleared the wreckage. The closure was lifted about three hours later.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash.
