Three-Car Crash on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass Kills Two Brothers

 
CAJON PASS, CA (July 9, 2023) – Jorge Guzman and Mario Guzman were killed in a three-car accident in the Cajon Pass Monday last month on June 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:49 a.m. on 15 Freeway near Matthews Ranch Road. According to the CHP, the two brothers were in a white Nissan Versa when they collided with a white Toyota Highlander for unknown reasons.
 
A black Buick Verano then rear-ended the Nissan causing it to burst into flames.
 
The two brothers were trapped inside the burning Nissan and both died at the scene. Jorge was 61 years old and Mario was 47. Both were San Bernardino residents.
 
There coworkers have initiated a fundraiser to help the family in this difficult time.
 
The crash investigation is still active and open.
