Jessica Hansen Detained for DUI, Smashing into Beloved Community Deck in Downton Felton on Graham Hill Road

 
FELTON, CA (May 26, 2023) — Jessica Hansen was arrested for DUI after crashing into a popular community deck in downtown Felton on Graham Hill Road.
 
According to reports, the California Highway Patrol arrested 42-year-old Hansen, of Boulder Creek, on suspicion of DUI. For DUI-related reasons, she crashed her 2005 Honda Pilot into the public platform around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
 
The beloved deck that provided public seating and event space surrounded a redwood Heritage tree across the street from Wild Roots Market.
 
County spokesperson Jason Hoppin said they have every intention of rebuilding the deck so that future patrons can enjoy it for years to come.
 
The popular deck was dedicated to the community in June 1991. The community constructed the 700-square-foot platform, crafted out of Redwood Timber, with county-provided materials.
