Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash at 7th Street and 3rd Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (April 23, 2021) – Jerry William Lyon Sr. died in a three-vehicle crash in Hesperia Wednesday afternoon, April 21.
The accident happened around 4:31 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Street and 3rd Avenue. According to sheriff’s deputies, the 70-year-old Hesperia man was driving a vehicle when he collided with two other vehicles for unknown reasons.
As a result, Lyon suffered major injuries. First responders rushed him to Desert Valley Hospital emergency department, where he was pronounced dead at 4:31 p.m.
The condition of the other parties involved was not immediately available.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the incident.
