Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Valley Glen

 
VALLEY GLEN, CA (April 23, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Valley Glen Wednesday evening, April 21.
 
The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded around 8:10 p.m. in the 6200 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue between Oxnard Street and Victory Boulevard.
 
Upon arrival, they found the pedestrian dead at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately available.
 
Several bystanders were near the accident, and the Mayor’s Crisis Response Team was called in to provide emotional support.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver has stayed on scene after the crash. An investigation is underway.
