Jeremy Wilson Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on South Elm Avenue [Fresno County, CA]

Sedan and Pickup Truck Collide Outside Caruthers Killing 33-Year-Old Man

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 2, 2024) – Jeremy Wilson was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Fresno County Thursday afternoon on March 28.
 
The fatal accident happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of South Elm Avenue and East Conejo Avenue, just outside Caruthers. According to the California Highway Patrol, Wilson was driving a sedan eastbound when he failed to stop at the stop sign ahead of the intersection. He then crashed into a passing white pickup truck that was heading northbound.
 
As a result of the crash, Wilson suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 33-year-old Kingsburg resident, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
 
The driver of the truck only sustained minor injuries.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
