Jeremiah Hudson Injured, Man Killed in Kernville Rollover Accident

 
KERNVILLE, CA (November 16, 2022) — 45-year-old Jeremiah Hudson of Johnsondale was injured in a rollover crash on Monday, November 14.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 3:00 a.m. on Mountain Highway 99 south of Corral Creek.
 
Officers said a 2014 Hyundai moved north on Mountain Highway 99. Then the driver drifted off the road. He lost control of the car and it rolled over on the rocky terrain.
 
The crash ejected both men as the vehicle overturned.
 
A 29-year-old man from Lake Isabella suffered fatal injuries. He died at the scene. His identity was not immediately available pending notification of loved ones.
 
CHP identified Hudson as the second occupant of the vehicle. Paramedics rushed Hudson to Kern Medical for treatment of major injuries.
 
Reports said neither men wore seatbelts at the time of the incident.
 
Authorities said it is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash.
