Motorcyclist Dies after Crashing into SUV in Downtown San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (April 23, 2023) – Jazaiha Duran was killed in a motorcycle accident in downtown San Jose Wednesday afternoon on April 19.
 
The accident happened just after 4:17 p.m. in the area of North 11th Street and Mission Street. According to the San Jose Police Department, Duran was riding his 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound on North 11th Street when he struck a Ford SUV heading westbound on Mission Street.
 
Duran was rushed to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. He was a 31-year-old San Jose resident, according to the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner. He was wearing a helmet during the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the woman driving the SUV was unharmed.
