Coroner Identifies Man Killed in Agua Dulce Crash on Sierra Highway

 
AGUA DULCE, CA (April 21, 2021) – A man who died in a car accident Wednesday morning in Agua Dulce has been identified.
 
He was 29-year-old Javier Ambriz Aguilar of Palmdale, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
 
The accident happened just after 5:30 a.m. on April 14 in the 12600 block of Sierra Highway. CHP officials said a vehicle had crashed into a ditch for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, Aguilar was already dead at the scene.
 
One person was pinned and extricated from the vehicle and transported to a hospital in an unknown condition, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department.
 
It is unclear if Aguilar was the one driving the vehicle.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
