Jasmine Gutierrez Killed in Rear-End Accident on Ellsworth Street [Moreno Valley, CA]

25-Year-Old Woman Dies after Crashing into Back of Tractor Trailer in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (June 4, 2023) – Jasmine Gutierrez was killed in a rear-end accident in Moreno Valley Thursday evening on June 1.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:45 p.m. at Ellsworth Street and Goldencrest Drive. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Gutierrez was driving a Toyota sedan northbound on Ellsworth when she rear-ended a tractor trailer at an undetermined speed.
 
As a result of the crash, Gutierrez suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was 25 years old from Moreno Valley.
 
The driver of the big rig was unharmed.
 
It was unclear whether the big rig was in motion or had come to a stop at the intersection.
 
The investigation is ongoing, and an autopsy on the victim was pending.
