Jaskarn Sidhu Killed in DUI Crash near East Commerce Way [Natomas, CA]

Bicyclist Dies after Struck by DUI Suspect in Natomas on Christmas Day

 
NATOMAS, CA (January 3, 2024) – Jaskarn Singh Sidhu was killed in a DUI crash early Monday morning on Christmas Day.
 
The fatal crash happened just before 1:00 a.m. near East Commerce Way and North Park Drive. According to the Sacramento Police Department, Sidhu was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle, driven by 38-year-old Michael Harris of Sacramento.
 
Sidhu suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 24-year-old Sacramento resident.
 
Harris was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Police later arrested him on gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI-related charges.
