Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Blackstone Street in Tulare

 
TULARE, CA (May 9, 2022) – James Harris Ingram was killed in a pedestrian accident in Tulare on Tuesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 9:10 p.m. on May 3. According to the Tulare Police Department, Ingram was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him. Responding officers found him in the middle of the street with major injuries. They attempted life-saving measures until paramedics arrived.
 
Ingram was then transported to an area hospital, where he later died. He was a 71-year-old Tulare resident.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and cooperated with police, who do not believe drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash.
 
At this time, this fatality is still under investigation. Police asked anyone with further information to contact them at 684-4290.
