James Cooper Detained in DUI Crash on Coleman Valley Road near Coleman Valley Creek

 
OCCIDENTAL, CA (December 23, 2022) — James Cooper was arrested in a DUI accident on Coleman Valley Road near Coleman Valley Creek.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 3:20 a.m. Sunday. For DUI-related reasons, 24-year-old Cooper veered off the road and crashed his Toyota Tacoma into a tree. As a result, his 34-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries and was brought to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for care.
 
During the investigation, authorities learned that impairment played a factor and arrested Cooper at the scene of the crash. Police have him booked at the Sonoma County jail with a bail set at $100,000. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
