ELK GROVE, CA (December 19, 2022) — Insuk Lancaster died after she was hit by a car on Sheldon Road near Waterman Road Thursday night.
 
According to the Elk Grove Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident took place around 9:22 p.m. For unknown reasons, an eastbound driver of a white Lexus struck the 60-year-old woman on the road.
 
Immediately after, the driver stopped at a nearby location and waited for authorities to arrive. Investigators do not believe alcohol or speed played a factor in this crash, but an investigation should clarify any ambiguous details.
