Hugo Ramirez Among Two Killed in Head-On Accident on Avenue E [Lancaster, CA]

Head-On Crash in Lancaster Kills 2 Drivers and Injures 3 Passengers

 
LANCASTER, CA (August 15, 2023) – Hugo Amparo Ramirez was among two people who died in a head-on accident in Lancaster Sunday afternoon on August 13.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:45 p.m. at Avenue E and 60th Street East. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a Dodge Charger and a Chevrolet Silverado collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, the two drivers both died at the scene. Three passengers were injured, two of them were in critical condition.
 
The injured patients were taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
 
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Ramirez as one of the deceased drivers. He was 22 years old.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
