West Covina Car Accident on 10 Freeway in West Covina Kills Henri Chinchilla

 
WEST COVINA, CA (June 8, 2022) – Henri Chinchilla was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in West Covina, early Saturday morning on June 4.
 
The accident happened around 4:26 a.m. on westbound 10 Freeway at the Barranca Street off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a red Honda Civic, a tan Nissan Altima and a minivan and several other vehicles.
 
When officers arrived, they found Chinchilla lying in the fourth lane of the freeway. They tried life-saving efforts, but the victim died at the scene.
 
Chinchilla was 52-year-old Los Angeles resident.
 
It is unknown if there are other injuries sustained in the crash.
 
Crews closed multiple lanes of the freeway for several hours while they cleared the wreckage.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
