Hector Aguirre Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Brea Boulevard [Brea, CA]

54-Year-Old Hector Aguirre Struck and Killed by Car on Brea Boulevard

 
BREA, CA (February 4, 2021) – Authorities identified 54-year-old Hector Aguirre as the pedestrian killed in an accident on Brea Boulevard, Monday January 18.
 
According to the Brea Police Department, the incident happened at about 4:15 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle hit the victim near Lambert Road.
 
Paramedics later pronounced Aguirre dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators. Authorities did not release the name of the driver.
 
Traffic was diverted from the scene for almost five hours to make way for an investigation.
 
Brea police continue to investigate the fatal accident. Officers ask anyone with information to call Traffic Investigator Josh Horn at (714) 990-7640 as soon as possible.
 
Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
