Anaheim Car Crash on West Katella Avenue, 32-Year-Old Hanna Jocelyn Gomar Dies
ANAHEIM, CA (August 27, 2022) – Hanna Jocelyn Gomar died in a car accident in Anaheim early Saturday, August 27.
The accident happened shortly before 3:00 a.m. in the 700 block of West Katella Avenue, just across from Disneyland Resort. According to the Anaheim Police Department, Gomar was driving a white GMC Yukon when she rear-ended a Dodge Charger for unknown reasons.
The impact caused the Yukon to veer off the roadway. It then crashed into a palm tree.
Gomar, a 32-year-old Corona resident, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Charger was not injured and cooperated with police.
Police said speed appears to be a factor in the crash. They asked anyone with further information to call them at 714-765-1997.
