Gregoria Pachuca Dead, Ana Garcia-Silva Arrested after DUI Accident on Highway 33 near Cadet Road

 
TAFT, CA (June 3, 2021) — A woman identified as 50-year-old Gregoria Juarez Pachuca, of Pasadena, died in a DUI crash on Sunday, May 30.
 
The solo-vehicle accident took place on Highway 33 between Cadet Road and Hovey Hills Road.
 
According to Sgt. Corey Beilby of the Taft Police Department, officers responded to the scene of the crash at around 5:17 p.m. Sunday. They determined that a blue Ford Mustang moving south left the road and overturned several times.
 
The impact of the crash ejected Pachuca, who was a passenger in the backseat. She died of sustained injuries at the scene. The 25-year-old driver, Ana Patricia Garcia-Silva, of Pasadena, suffered minor injuries. A male passenger in the front seat also had minor injuries. His identity was not immediately released.
 
Officers arrested Garcia-Silva and booked her at the Kern Central Receiving Facility. She faces several charges including gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
