Rider Suffers Major Injuries after Accident on Highway 12 in Valley Springs

 
VALLEY SPRINGS, CA (June 2, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic accident on Highway 12 in Valley Springs Tuesday evening, June 1.
 
The accident happened around 7:47 p.m. near Lime Creek Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a pickup truck collided for unknown reasons. The impact sent the motorcycle into a ditch, badly injuring the rider.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and took the motorcyclist to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
 
No other injuries were reported.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still trying to determine the exact cause of the crash and factors involved. An investigation is ongoing.
