Gerardo Espinoza Injured in Fatal Car Accident on David Road [Arvin, CA]

Gerardo Espinoza Hospitalized in Deadly Car Crash on David Road near Edison Road

 
ARVIN, CA (September 30, 2022) — Gerardo Espinoza sustained injuries in a fatal two-car accident on David Road near Edison Road on Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle collision happened around 6:39 a.m. For unknown reasons, 66-year-old Espinoza allowed his westbound black rendezvous to veer into the eastbound lane.
 
Subsequently, his westbound vehicle crashed into an eastbound Toyota Matrix head-on.
 
Tragically, the 38-year-old man in the Toyota Matrix died at the scene. His name is unavailable at this time. Soon after, paramedics took Espinoza to Kern Medical hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
 
It’s unclear what led to the crash, which temporarily blocked off the road for the investigation and cleanup. However, CHP officers have ruled out impairment as a possible explanation.
