Francisco Romero Dead in Maricopa Rollover Crash on Highway 166

 
MARICOPA, CA (June 29, 2021) — A man died in a rollover accident on Highway 166 near Basic School Road Saturday afternoon.
 
Police identified the victim as 24-year-old Francisco Luis Romero of Taft.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal car accident happened around 2:35 p.m. west of Goldberg Street. Under unknown circumstances, a car crashed, overturned and slammed into a nearby orchard. As a result, police responded to the scene.
 
However, reports have not released information on how many people were injured in the accident.
 
At this time, the crash remains under investigation. Although, if anyone has more information, please contact the CHP.
