JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 21, 2022) – Four people were injured in a two -vehicle accident on Etiwanda Avenue in Jurupa Valley on Saturday afternoon, June 18.
 
The accident happened around 2:33 p.m. at the intersection with Jurupa Road. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, a red hatchback and a silver sedan collided for unknown reasons.
 
The impact caused moderate injuries on three people. A fourth person sustained minor injuries from the crash.
 
Paramedics transported three patients to a hospital and treated one person at the scene.
 
At least one of the patients became trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed by firefighters.
 
The hatchback sustained heavy damage to the passenger side, while the sedan had a crumbled hood as a result of the crash.
 
Authorities are still investigating the accident to determine the cause and liability.
