Man Dead, Woman Hospitalized in Overturned Crash on Highway 4 in Tracy

 
TRACY, CA (June 21, 2022) — A man died, and a woman suffered injuries in an overturned accident on Highway 4 near Middle River Bridge.
 
According to reports, the single-vehicle accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. For unknown reasons, a 25-year-old Manteca man driving a 2005 Infiniti G35 eastbound on the highway lost control.
 
As a result, the vehicle veered off the road and into a gravel shoulder. From there, the Infiniti crashed into a power pole and overturned into the water.
 
Moments later, emergency personnel responded to the scene when a witness reported the vehicle at 7:15 a.m.
 
Arriving paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.
 
Officials brought a 27-year-old woman, a passenger in the car, to a hospital with minor injuries.
