Three-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway in Temescal Valley Injures 4 People

 
TEMESCAL VALLEY, CA (August 7, 2022) – Four people were injured in a three-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Temescal Valley on Friday afternoon, August 5.
 
The accident happened around 2:55 p.m. along the northbound freeway, just south of Temescal Canyon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a GMC Denali SUV and two pickup trucks collided for unknown reasons.
 
Several Corona Fire Department engine crews, along with Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crew responded to the scene and found one occupant of the SUV trapped in the vehicle.
 
Crews performed cut-and-rescue operation to free the victim. Paramedics then took the victim to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
Three other occupants sustained minor injuries.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
