Three Vehicles Collide on 91 Freeway in Corona Injuring 5 People

 
CORONA, CA (August 10, 2023) – Five people were injured in a three-vehicle accident on 91 Freeway in Corona Tuesday morning on August 8.
 
The accident happened around 11:50 a.m. near Serfas Club Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided in the fast lane along the westbound freeway. One of the cars was severely damaged from the crash.
 
Corona Fire Department crews responded and found three people trapped in the heavily damaged car. The three patients suffered serious injuries.
 
The drivers in the other two vehicles sustained moderate injuries.
 
All five patients were transported to hospitals in Riverside.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
